ING

Engaging staff with F1 sponsorship In late 2006, ING agreed a global sponsorship deal with the Renault F1 team to run for three seasons form the start of 2007. This was the first time the company had entered into a sponsorship deal on a global scale and because of that, recognised the importance of engaging employees with it and the rationale behind it. To ensure this happened, the sponsorship team approached Ibis Communication to develop a strategy and plan that would underpin engagement activity during the course of sponsorship. Read on

Communication planning National Grid is one of the world's leading energy utility companies with significant Transmission and Distribution operations in the UK and USA. In January 2006, the company announced that Steve Holliday would succeed Roger Urwin as CEO and later that year, announced some fundamental changes to its strategy. Friends Provident

Helping get the most out of the communication hubs In 2007, Friends Provident constructed a communication hub at each of its main sites to provide staff with a discrete environment for learning about the company and its plans. Staff were encouraged to visit either individually or in teams and this became more likely if the content was of interest and relevance to them.
